We changed a clutch car after reassembly the car will not move it kind of tries but then it make a whirring sound. Now we did not read all instructions first, so we then after the fact see this note on page it says:to insert a special tool to keep the side gears from coming mis-aliened the axle on drivers side lacks a little over 3/16 of an inch looking into trans axle [pulled passenger side out of trans axle ] it looks like a round rod fell into the axle hole from up inside towards the back.

You will need to replace the unit or take the transmission apart.

When installing a replacement automatic or manual trans-axle assembly into a front-wheel drive vehicle, it is very important to leave the plastic axle-seal plugs in place until it is time to reinsert the axle drive shafts. The axle-seal plugs prevent the differential side gears from becoming dislodged from their proper positions. If the differential side-gears become dislodged, it will not be possible to reinsert the axle drive shafts. If the differential side-gears cannot be returned to their proper positions, it will be necessary to install another replacement transmission assembly, as correction of this condition requires disassembly of the transmission housing.
