Hard start and shuts off

Car starts very hard and shuts off a lot, it shuts off even driving down the road. When driving, it shuts off and cuts out, where it acts like it wants to shut off but it does not. I have changed many sensors but nothing is helping. I have no engine light on at all. Not sure what to do. Thanks for the help.

Hello,

How does the engine run while it is running? Have you replaced the crankshaft angle sensor if not this is where I would start. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job. Does the check engine light come on with the key in the on position?

The engine runs good but at times it sounds rough. The engine light is on when it is on the on position and the previous owner said he replaced the crankshaft sensor.

When the engine stalls can you hear the fuel pump running in the tank? Plus we should run the codes to see what comes up.
