Took my car into a dealership so they can see what's wrong. They said the battery was good and couldn't find any issues. They ran the machine to find issues with my car and no codes showed. This happened before a few times and I took it to the Acura dealership about 6 months ago and they said the same thing. I haven't any issues since but it's just random. I have gas in the car, I didn't leave the lights on over night it anything. I spent $150.00 at the last dealership I took it to and it was a waste of money. Does anyone have any advice?

Is there a "click" sound when you went to start it? It could be a bad/intermittent starter. Also verify that the brake lights come on when you press the brake pedal, these are known to have bad brake switches at times. If there were no trouble codes there shouldn't be an issue with the immobilizer key fyi. When I get an intermittent one like this, I place a jumper wire at the starter terminal and verify 12 volts when I attempt to start the vehicle, if there is 0 volts I then back track the circuit to the source,if there is 12 volts and no start then I know it's the starter. It sounds like the battery is weak or the starter has gone out but to be sure lets check out these guides, they can help us fix it
