2002 Cadillac SRX - STS Engine Size unknown Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 60,000 miles

My 2002 STS Cadillac is making a noise like a whirring
from a fan motor (seems to be coming from front). Only does while car is in motion, and when you start to slow down or come to a stop the noise ceases.
It first started about a week ago
and begin like a hum from tires or road noise, now it has become much more noticeable and sounds more
like a buzz or whirring noise.

Thanks for any comments.

Being a newbie, I can't seem to navigate the reponse format, but thanks Buzzsaw and Joe
for your replies:
I took the car to the agency service dept. And they found the noise to be from :) the "front wheel hub bearing". Problem corrected.
Thanks,
KW
