When I start driving her and/or am coming to a complete stop there is a faint knocking noise. I'm not sure where its coming from exactly and don't know how to fix it.

Also, the lifter isn't working properly and after the car is parked and off it continuously is trying to adjust itself and cannot. Therefore used up the battery so much that it barely starts the next day.

When on the freeway going over 60mph the vehicle shakes as well.

Help?

Thanks!

A knock that relates to engine speed, could be because of a main bearing. There was in early years a thicker main to replace and correct the knock. It is hard to say at 130k what the condition is without inspection. You can confirm a potential #1 main knock by removing the serpentine belt. If the knock is gone it is good suspect.

The lifter you are talking of is the automatic level control. You could have leaking lines, shocks, faulty sensors, leaking compressor, just to name a few. It would need some diagnosis.

Shakes at freeway speeds could relate to tire balance, tire irregularities, bent cv axle, worn motor mounts, etc.
