With engine running, that should be alternator out-put. Have the alternator tested, sounds faulty to me. You also need to make sure the battery has a full charge. The generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts, measured across battery posts, everything, engine, off.

You could have a fuel pump problem but you would need to test it with a fuel pressure gauge to determine that.

My buick reacts as thouth it is starving for gas when I turn to the extreme right, or left, and press hard on the accelerator.
As long as I am going straight, I can stop in the middle of the street and press hard and it reacts fine,
however if I turn it stall, stumble, or shut down all together.

The power steering system shouldnt drag enough to cause that kind of problem with a V-8. Does the engine idle a little low? At that mileage it may need the Idle Air control valve cleaned along with the passages for it. This will stabilize the idle quality and should help. You can try wiggling thewiring harness under thehood as well to see if it causes the engine to stumble or die. Sometimes bad connections can do what you describe.

Hi, how long since a tune-up? Any trouble codes? You may need to clean the throttle-body and check iac- idle air control.
