My car has dual temp controls. The drivers side works fine for both AC & heat. The passenger side blows AC only. The passeneger side temp contol is the slider type & seems to function well. No heat on passenger side. The wife won't drive with me anymore in winter months :) What might cause this problem? Thanks, Ron

I found the answer to my own question.
My mechanic says it is the Actuator that is gone. It is extremely hard to repair due to having to remove the entire dash - 8 hour job. The part is only $90.
So we disconnected the Actuator on that side and the passenger side adjuster. Now we have heat & AC on both sides, just controlled from the driver side. It all works now. Cost me $195 to find the problem & make it work, cheaper than the alternative for a 10 year old car.
