Buick park avenue 1998 3.8 L auto-trans front wheel drive mileage 120k-
- with A/C on, even on recirculate & vent off, left side blows cool like normal, but right side blows air-temp air (not hot or cold). Elec system seems ok; (no vacuum lines on back of A/C control unit in dash); not sure if the 98 year has vacuum lines. Is the problem in vacuum lines or other? Thanks.

I take it this car has dual climate control? Could be an control actuator problem if it has dual.

The closest to 'dual climate' is at the vents on each side where theres an elec slide control labled 'cooler--warmer'; both are set to 'full cool'. No such dual control on mail control panel. Is it worth 75.00 to swap out the main control panel with a used one? (I dont see any loose wires). Thanks

I would start by checking that those controls are working properly. Ther is some kind of actuator or cable controlled door that dictates hot or cold. Be sure both of those doors are working properly before replacing the control head
