Air Conditioning problem
1995 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl 157000 miles

I just got this car last week. Everything else works wonderfully. However, the Air Conditioner will not blow cold air. It blows hot. What does that mean? If the compressor isn't working, does that mean I wouldn't get any air? The system is really wierd. There is no actual air conditioning button. It has that climate control thing. Could that have something to do with it?

It could be several things. I would recommend starting by having the freon checked to make sure it is charged. If it is low on freon, the compressor won't engage.

Let me know what you find.
