Leak in left back tire pedal goes to the floor and doesn't stop. What might be wrong and what does it cost to fix issues?

Hello,

This is usually caused by a leak in the hydraulic system of the brakes. The hydraulic system for the brakes is a sealed unit and uses brake fluid, much like hydraulic fluid, to squeeze brake caliper that contain brake pads on a brake rotor that is attached to your vehicle's wheel. It is in this way that the brake system slows your vehicle down.
When a leak occurs, the system is no longer sealed ans as you press on the brake pedal no pressure builds up and you keep pressing the pedal all the way to the floor with little or no effect. I have included a link down below for you to go to.

I have also included an estimate of a ball park figure of what it could cost to take your vehicle to a shop to have it repaired in the diagrams down below. Otherwise please go through the guide in the leak above and get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
