Changed the rotors, cylinders, pads. Shocks. And front ball joints. Changed master cylinder and brake booster twice. After all was changed it acted one way for about two months. Now it does something else.
At first the pedal was going to the floor. Had to pump it two or three times to stop every time.
Now it goes halfway to floor and suddenly jerks to a stop.

Hi ASHLEY,

I have seen this problem before, if the rear shoes are worn down they will grab the drum. Do this test, drive the car slowly, then pull the parking brake to see if you get the same grab this will let you know the problem is the rear brakes.

Please let us know what you find so it will help others.

Best, Ken

Thanks for the tip. We changed the shoes a few months ago. But yesterday we took the calibers and pads back because they were warranties. Got new parts and put them back on. We put lube in the bolts that move the piston. Maybe that step was overlooked previously? Anyway they work now. Perfectly. But I am watching the hoses to see if they could be collapsing.
