1992 BMW 325 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120xxx miles

my son has a bmw 325i he ran out of gas now it wont start I checked for power at the pump there is nothing there. We checked the fuse it was good. Is there something that needs to be reset? Any help you can give would be great thanks

Test or Replace the fuel pump relay or swap it with a like one and see what happens.

What wire were you checking for power from? My concern is that the pump was original to the car, and it was run out of fuel and ruined the pump and now you may have a failed relay as Raz had said, and you may also have a failed fuel pump. Keep in touch and let us know.
