no spark to the spark plugs the negitive dont work on the coil but the positive dose

Sounds like you are geting 12 volts to the coil just not geting thru to the distributor cap. Could be the coil gone bad? Also check with a plug wire to see if you have spark at the plug. Have someone turn over the engine and check for spark.[Be careful]You may need a volt meter to be sure what the prob is. Good luck.

There may be voltage present at the coil, with the key on, that is normal. In this case, the DME controls spark. If the DME does not see a crank signal, there wont be an injector pulse and there wont be any spark. Start with the basics, look at power and grounds. See if there is corrosion in the connectors or in the harness. Connector, conductor, component is the path I like to start with.
