2000 Audi A4 Automatic 110000 miles

when I try to put gas into my gas tank, the tank acts plugged or something. It wont let me add gas. Is there some sort of valve thats not working? Thank you

I dont see any TSB's on that problem. Did it start all of the sudden? Has any work been done recently?

It started about 1 month ago. At first when id fill the tank the nossle would click off at about 1/2 tank but act full. Now I try to add gas and it stops at about.40 cents no matter how slow I put the gas init wants to over flow. I dont see any blockage in the filler. Please help

More likely a problem with the venting of the filler neck. Might need to lift and support vehicle to visually inspect the fill hose and the vent
