1999 Audi A4 Do not idle

My Audi idles unevenly and sometimes dies.I had it on a computer test and it shows that the master airflow does not work and a small breather pipe was broken, it was all replaced but it's still does the same. The fuell consuption is very high and black smoke comes out of the exhaust pipe.I had it at several mechanics and they can, t find the fault, can you please help.

Because of the black smoke, that indicates a rich mixture, too much fuel, so I would first check for vacuum leaks and a faulty pressure regulator(fuel). And bad injectors, checking the spark plugs wouldnt hurt either, is there a check engine light on?
