99 MBZ 230 Kompressor

After only 99K miles the supercharger is deteriorating.

This was diagnosed by the dealership.

Supposedly this is rare.

Do you have any info or advice regarding this issue?

Will this be a catastrophic failure or will it slowly lose power.

Could be catastrophic if the S/C comes apart and the debris finds its way into the engine. 99 K isnt too bad for a S/C to last, depedning on driving habits and maintenance
