1998 Questions for all other cars Poor acceleration

I have Holden Vectra 1998 bought second hand just 6 months back. When I accelerate from 1000-2000rpm, the speed and acceleration is very slow even if I put pressure on the accelerator. After 2000 Rpm its normal and fine.
Also, when I reverse and brake, the car vibrates.

Hi vshah,

Poor acceleration can be caused by improper ignition timing, valve timing, low fuel pressure, faulty TPS, spark plugs, distributors etc.

Vibratioin could be due worn or bad engine mounts.
