Try pulling hvac fuse in car it may be the blend door actuator and this will reset it. Leave out for 60 seconds. If actuator is ok then the blend door shaft may be broken. There is a shortcut for that if you are so inclined.

Resetting the fuse did not help. Guess the door is broken. Someone said a hole had to be cut inside the blower box. Is there an easy way todo this?

It may not be a broken door take the actuator off and see if you can feel it move it may be just a bad actuator unless you have already found that the actuator moves.

After looking at this and your things with actuator door have you even seen that the compressor works? Does it have pressure and does the large pipe leaving the evaporator under hood get frosty or feel cold when a/c is on? That may be the problem because I've been assuming that the a/c is in working order check that if compressor doesn't work then check fuse and relay underhood they will be marked for position on underpart or top of fuse box.
