My trucks airconditioning only works when it is set on Max AC. It blows hot air on the regular ac setting. What needs to be done?

The refrigerant level needs to be checked. Open the hood, strt truck, turn on a/c when the compressor starts count the seconds before it turns off, this is called cycling, if this is frequent, it needs a recharge.
