Loses power accelerating up hills

When I accelerate to go up a hill I lose power. Driving on a flat surface is fine.

Stopping at a red light or stop sign. Car feels like it is going to stall.

Is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running? If it is, you need to scan the computer for diagnostic trouble codes. Here is a quick video showing how it is done:

I realize most people don't own a scanner, but often times, a parts store will lend or rent one to you. Or, they will scan it for free. That needs done. If the light isn't on, then there are several things that can cause this to be an issue. Things such as a partially plugged catalytic converter, low fuel pressure, engine vacuum leaks and so on can create low power conditions.
