The clutch won't engage. The fuses in the under hood fuse relay center are good and so is the wiring. I can jump the A/C relay fuse and the clutch engages, however it stays engaged even when the A/C is off, which in turn causes difficulties when I start the vehicle.

Hello,

This could be an internal short circuit in your A/C compressor itself. In the diagrams down below I have included factory diagnostic troubleshooting procedures for your vehicle's A/C compressor. You will need to use a multi-meter and one test calls for the use of an analog voltmeter. I have included a link for you to go to below if you are unfamiliar with how to use one:

Please get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
