Just put in a blend door actuator in last week from AutoZone. All vacuum lines are new, when and checked out okay. Turn on the A/C, after the new door was installed, , nice cold air came out and ran the car for 10 minutes. Today turned the A/C on, same problem is happening as before, could this be the the new actuator that I put in? I hope not, because what a headache it was to get at and bruised knuckles and sore back. What do you think? Is there any way to check? I do not know it's the same problem. Thanks for any info on your end. Help, hot in Phila PA, 85 degrees.

Good morning,

Can you hear the door moving back and forth when you command heat and A/C?

Do you have gauges to test the high and low side pressures? It could be a Freon issue

Is the compressor clutch engaged?
