A/C not blowing cold air

My A/C clutch comes on and goes off, air is not cool. It took about 1/2 can of Freon, wouldn’t take anymore. Changed the pressure switch and still will not blow cold.

Good morning,

It sounds like you are low in Freon. If the compressor cycles, the low pressure may be dropping to 20 or below which will turn off the compressor until the pressure comes back.

Do you have a set of gauges to give me the high and low side readings? You can rent a set at a parts store. I need to see those reading with the A/C system turned on.
