Hi,
I have a 94 Cutlass Ciera S. I have problems with it starting between short periods of time. For example, I cannot take it out for short errands otherwise I will have to wait 30 minutes-an hour for it to start back up. I can only drive it if I will be where I am going for a while.
I have replaced the fuel pump, filter, fuel pressure regulator and starter. Could this be related to my fuel injectors? The car sat for several years with little use before this past year (since I have had it up and running again). During the sitting time, we would have to spray ether into one of the hoses to get it running again.
Thanks for your help ! Baru

Good morning,

The first thing I would do is check the actual fuel pressure. You can rent a tester at a parts store for the test. The test port is right by the fuel pressure regulator.

Verify it is within the specs below.

Fuel Pressure .................... 284-325 kPa (41-47 psi)

I attached a guide for you to view for testing the pressure.
