2007 Ford Mustang Automatic Transmission

Transmission shifts slow and hard. It stays in 2nd gear. Codes show 5th gear incorrect ratio an torque converter incorrect clutch. What could the cause of these codes. I just purchased this car second hand an drove it about 500 miles when the motor failed. Replaced motor an now the transmission is acting up

Cold be from the engine replacement and fuse s are blown underhood or wires weren't connected right. Check those items first

The mechanic that installed the motor checked that. Before the motor went in the tranny was doing this but we thought that it might be the lack of compression and vacuum in the motor. But that was not the case, any other thoughts.

If it didii t before engine install then scan for codes and have a trans guy do it. It may be an internal problem. Like a shift valve or broken accumaltor

Could it be the servo, been reading alot of failures of the servos on transmission from 80, 00 miles to 108,000 miles. The OD light flashes contiuously.

You don't want to change part s just because you read something get it scanned and have an experienced person look at it otherwise you end up spending money unnecessarily. The servo wouldn't have much to do with overdrive or what you are saying your problems with it are
