My car shifts great, the clutch and presure plate have been replaced at 50000, but in traffic it becomes hard to get in gear. I have driven tractor trailers for 35 years. I find if I double clutch or triple pump at a light it is a little better. As soon as it cools a little it gets better. If I shift without the clutch she is fine. By the way a kid had the car for the first 17000 miles. Thanks Ps it a TR3650 trans

This sounds so much like a pressure plate issue, and a slave cylinder issue But the first is the hydraulic check the master cylinder for fluid , if she is low put some in, If the fluid is fine no leaks you will need a slave cylinder and you cant reuse the pressure plate

I would definitely start with checking the hydraulics first
