Not going into gear?

I bought the vehicle listed above turbo diesel. I had an intermittent starting problem I got told to replace the ignition barrel. So I replaced that then got told that the TCM chip was fried. So I replaced that and now the car isn't selecting gears. I was wondering what the problem is?

This is a couple possible issues. First and foremost we need to check the fluid level and service the transmission if the fluid is not in good condition.
