I was driving and then the clock started flashing on and off and my speed dropped from 55 mph down to 35 mph but rpms went over 3. So I turned around to head home and couldn't get over 35 mph and then it started revving hard, jerks forward, the air bag light came on, then the engine light. So I pulled over and now it wont start.

It may have went into limp home mode for some reason? Can you check for applicable trouble codes? At the least, you may need an obd2 code reader to check codes. Some don't cost too much.

If it cranks good but won't start, check the basics. Have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check for fuel injector pulse.

Anybody else have any ideas, jump in.

It wouldn't even crank. The only time it would was during a jump start. Then after a bout a minute at 35mphs it would die out. It wouldn't respond until jumped again.

I'd have to make sure battery has a full charge, battery connections all good. Make sure charging system is working properly.

If the starter motor won't crank, have to check voltage and ground circuits for the starter motor. When testing at the starter make sure tranny is in park or neutral and the parking brake is set.
