Hello,

It sounds like the immobilizer calibration is off. As you are going uphill it is triggering the anti-theft / no tow function.
Depending on the fault codes for the immobilizer you might be able to reset it. However, there is a good chance this will need a dealer visit.

Try this method to reset:
Press and hold the central locking button, which is located on the center console for 10 seconds.
The doors should lock and then unlock.
Press the lock button on the key fob with in 10 seconds.
This will make the doors lock and unlock again, resetting the system.

If this does not fix the issue, then a dealer visit may be needed.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Good morning,

What makes you think it is the security system shutting down the car? It is very rare that this happens. Does the engine crank over after it stalls out?

The most likely reason is from lack of spark or fuel to the engine itself. I attached some guides for you below for testing whether you do not have spark or fuel for the engine to run.

Once you run these tests, let me know the results so I can help guide you on this.
