2004 Honda Pilot repair

We own a 2004 pilot--2013 of Dec. Repair was made on the compliance Bushings.
Now car repair shop are saying we need the ball joint suspension lower control fix.
Are these two the same & why was this not seen at that time?

These 2 items are different but they are within the same area and should have been detected whilst doing the first repair. Maybe you should talk with the person in charge to give you a reduction of the labor charges.
