When I turn on the AC my car over heats

When I turn on my ac in my car it over heats I looked under the hood today and noticed that the fan is not turning on.

When the fan should be running, check for voltage and ground at the fan connector. Blue wire is voltage, black is ground. You can use jumpers wires for voltage and ground to the motor connector, just to see if the fan motor itself will run? You probably should use an inline fuse just in case.

Note wiring below. If you unplug the cts will the fan run, with key on?
