He horn on my 2003 Chevy Silverado stopped working. Coincidentally, when I lock my door with the remote, the horn doesn't honk anymore either. I think it's a fuse, but I can't pull the fuse out with my fingers. Do you think I've diagnosed it correctly and if so, is there a trick to removing the fuse (it's underneath the hood)?

CHECK VOLTAGE ON THE DK GREEN WIRES @ THE HORNS when astavating the horn. THE FUSE IS MOST LIKLEY YOUR PROBLEM. YOU can PULL IT OUT WITH slim pliers

THEY MAKE A LITTLE PULLER THAT WILL PULL THEM--MANY TIMES ONEIS INCLUDED IN TH "TOP COVER" OR IN THE BOX ITSELF

THE PULLERS ARE SORTA FLIMSY (BUT WILL WORK) I USUALLY USE NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS TO SNATCH 'EM OUT

IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO RUN A TEMPORARY JUMPER WIRE FROM THE POSITIVE SIDE OF YOUR BATTERY, "TOUCH" THE POSITIVE PIN/ SPADE ON YOU HORN, JUST TO VERIFY THE HORN WORKS, AND THAT IT IS NOT THE PROBLEM

LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES
