I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, it will turn over but will not start, it happened once this summer, we loaded it on a trailor, took it to a mechanic and he went to look at the car and he started it by turning on the key. Not sure if the bouncing of the car on the way over their was the cure or what but again it has happened, any ideas?

Have you checked to see if the engine is getting spark and fuel? Can you hear the fuel pump running for a second or so when you first turn the key on?
