If the explorer is like my truck, to change the front rotors the entire wheel hub must be removed. If this is the case what size is the wheel hub nut? Thnx

No you don't needto take teh wheel hub off. Just spray some penetrating oil around the hub and tap it with ahammer. Here are the instructions. You'll need to remove teh claiper an d a bracket but that's about it.
