Transmission issues

I had my transmission rebuilt not even a year ago. But sadly the miles have expired on the warenty. I had one machanic hook it up to a diagnostic and it said 3rd gear ratio. I took it in to the man who did the trans in the first place and he said he thinks it is the hub not trans. Which makes no since to me. I was driving to the airport and it seemed like it got stuck in first gear. Then later will not get out of 2nd gear. We changed the sensors out to see if that would help but that didnt work at all. I guess my question would be what would the hub have to do with my transmission?

The hub he is talking about may be the one inside the trans. Not the hub that contains your wheel bearings.
Anyway, it seems strange to trouble shoot a part without examining it.
It needs to be puleed and most likely re built again. This time, get a price on a factory trans that has a 3 yr 50k warranty. Well worth the money.

We took it to a friend first and he said it read 3rd gear ratio and a sensor for the input output, we bought the sensors looks like spark plugs and that didnt work. So then we took it to a shop and the man said it was a hub he thought was the problem, not the "whole" trans, its not slipping at all. 1st 2nd gear works reverse, nuetral, park. Just dont seem to want to kick into 3rd gear. Im not very good with cars and he suggested the hub. All I could think of was the hub with the wheels.
