I have a 01 Nissan Maxima, If you push the gas it dies quicker and the check engine light is not on. I replaced the Fuel Pump and Filter and the problem is still the same. Wondering what else it could be? I changed the fuel pump and filter and still does the same thing what could it be?
Does the check engine light come on with the key in the on position?

I don't have an adapter to check the fuel pressure that's why I went on and changed the pump, it has a strong spark, and yes the check engine light comes on when it is in the on position but goes off when it cranks. Two weeks ago I had to chage the alternater I don't know if that has anything to do with it.I hope you can help: )

Trying. We need the spec for the fuel pressure.
Do you have a security light? If so, does it stay on when it does start?
