I have nissan maxima 1997 auto transmission. It has a problem that when I am accelerating it slowly the pistons knock and engine vibrate. But in sudden or fast acceleration the cars moves smoothly.

i already changed fuel pump and spark plugs with coil.

You need a vacuum gauge -You sure the engine is not detonating/pinging if so check the knock sensor and also if the engine is overheating

No the engine is not pinging. Only the problem which I told you. Piston knocking at the time of slow acceleration.

May be it is from gearbox?

Example - this knocking is same when we are accelerating car from 0 km at 2 gear or 3. Means piston knocking.
