I got a power steering leak on my ranger on the driver side by the bellows boot I get like a golf ball size spot when it sits over night every day only have to add some fluid maybe once a month is there a seal right there that just needs to be replaced cause the steering is normal ans if its the seal how much do you think a shop would charge to fix it thanks
Parts are not normally available for rack and pinion assemblies. You must replace the unit with a remanufactured one. There are some suppliers of aftermarket replacement bellows boots, but those are just for keeping dirt and water out. If you pull either one back, you're going to find it is full of fluid. Once they fill up, the added pressure from the continuing leak is what forces the fluid out and onto the ground.
