How do you flush and replace power steering fluid?

It can get messy. I usualyy remove the return hose from the p/s pump and plug the nipple. Stick the hose in a bucket or container larger than the amount of fluid you will be using to flush. Have someone start the engine with the resevoir full, it will drain out, as it does fill it up with fresh fluid. Dont let the pump run dry, it is bad for it.
