Was working on a saturn sl1. It was always hard to get in gear sometimes, but if u let the clutch out and back in it would go right in gear. Now the slave went out and put new assembly and when u put it in gear and give it some gas with the clutch still in it starts to move. Doesnt do it everytime but most of the time. It didnt do this before we changed it. I had a used one I tried and it did it and thats when I bought the new one only to do the same. Thanks

Did you install the new slave on the transmission with holder for the slave cylinder piston rod in place?

No you don't bleed them that's why they come as a unit. If the hydraulics is working correctly you have a pressure plate issue. Sounds like the pressure plate fingers have worn unevenly causing some of the clutch disc to release and part of it to catch when the clutch pedal is pushed all the way to the floor.I have seen that happen before.

From the symptoms its a hydraulic issue or pressure plate issue.
