Trouble starting

Car will not idle upon start up. Have to give it gas to get it started and continue to rev the engine for 30-45 seconds and then it idles fine.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Also, Check the EGR to make sure it is working / sealing, and make sure the idle air control motor is working.
