Hey. I'm attempting to fix this sensor problem with my car. I have code p0161. My car will not start. It cranks but it won't turn over. I don't know the location of this part. When I crank it, it sounds like it's not getting any gas another code I have is p0401 witch is the exhaust gas re-circulation flow. Those are the only two codes I have that I don't know what is the problem. Any help I would appreciate it.

Good morning,

Neither issue will cause the no start.

Can you hear the fuel pump turn on when you turn on the key?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Can you check for spark to one of the plugs while cranking?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

Lets check basics first.

The 401 is the DPFE sensor. Very common.
