I don't know about your part of the country? I charge 100 bucks for diagnostics. 50 bucks an hour for labor, two hour minimum. If I run into something I don't expect, it will cost more. Different shops charge different labor rates and parts are extra.

The fuel pump itself for this vehicle lists for about $450 from the dealer. There are some aftermarket pumps made that may save you a little money but remember, you get what you pay for. The flat rate labor time is 2.2 hours so you can calculate that from the shop's labor rate. For example. At a labor rate of $80 per hour, that would be $176 in labor. You should also replace the fuel filter at the same time.

So I'm looking at about $600-$700 to replace. Thank you all very much.
