Power to fuel pump?

I own a 1999 chevy s-10 and have replaced the fuel pump assembly and harness, and the fuel filter and control module, the truck will only start when putting choke cleaner in the fresh air intake housing, what do you think it is?

Make sure the fuel pump is energizing. If not, check the fuse and relay. Make sure your repairs to the harness are secure. Make sure any connections to the control module are secure. Make sure it's getting spark to the plugs.
