After replacing the fuel pump( it is a 2 line all in one pump assembly) on my 98 mustang I try to start it and I'm not building any fuel pressure to my engine, I can hear the pump running but when I disconnect the lines from the pump no gas comes out like it did when I originally disassembled it. Also if I pour gas right into the engine it will start and run for 10 to 15 seconds then die off.

Disconnect at fuel filter, if still no fuel then the pump has either incorrectly installed or a hose connecting it has hole in it. Then go from there I fyou have fuel at filter install a new filter then see what you have.
