Car cranks no start?

Falcon EL 1997 cranks but no start. New ign coil and distributor. Spark and fuel are ok. Distributor aligns with the timing marks. Spraying starter fluid into the throttle body didn't help. Does it eliminate the lean mixture problem due to vacuum leak or insufficient fuel pressure? Compression around 130 psi. There is inlet backfire.

Yes, I have seen the catalytic converter clog up and cause this problem, here is a guide to ehlp check it also, I would undo the exhaust system head pipe and see if the engine starts if so this is your problem.
