Hello,

When the steering column is removed, care must be taken during handling. Sharp blow on the end of the shaft or shift lever, putting excessive pressure on the column can damage it. Hammering, jolting or bumping on the steering shaft and gear shift tube must be avoided during all service operations.

Be sure to use a approved steering wheel puller when removing the wheel.
