95 Toyota Paseo with Automatic Transmission I have a rattling noise coming from my driver side axle. I know how to replace the wheel bearing, but what about the output shaft bearing? Is there an output shaft bearing and if so, how can it be replaced?

What do you mean by output shaft bearing?

The drivers side front axle goes into the transmission (I believe called the transfer case) and has an oil seal/differential seal. There should be a bearing for that axle somewhere, but I'm not sure what it's called. Again I'm not talking about the wheel bearing! Thank you.

You must be referring to the differential side bearing.
