Good day,

Every morning my car starts and it idle normal, as soon as I drop my son of at school my car doesn't want to start. It's about 4 km from my house.
I have no idea where to start searching for the problem.
The car is idling perfect when its start.
Must I change my fuel filter?

Please help!

More than likely this is a fuel pump issue. So, we need to start with checking the fuel pressure and find out if this is low when you are trying to restart the engine.

This could be a fuel filter issue but the only way to know is if the pressure is low is to change it.

The last thing that we need to start with checking is a crank sensor issue. When you are cranking the engine and it is not starting, do you see any movement with the RPM?

If not, then the crank sensor could be faulty not telling the PCM that the engine is turning.

Let's start with this info and go from there.

Thanks
