95 Deville 4.9 V8

My fuel level indicator suddenly dropped from 8 gallons to 'E' while driving. The sentinel lights don't come on and it chimes constantly when I turn on the headlights manually. The trunk won't work by key fob and the fuel door won't open. Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?

The fuel gauge issue is probably a faulty fuel tank sending unit. The trunk and fuel door issue may be because of the valet switch in the glove box being on and overriding the function. The headlights, does this chime occur when the vehicle is running and driving?

Yes. All the issues happened at once while the car was running and driving. I'll check the valet switch.
